Stray Cat Sundays with Powell Lacrosse
Date: Sundays Starting 9/13
Time: Games run from 9am-1pm
Seven Sundays. Fall foliage. Good people. Cold ones. And America’s oldest game.
Hosted by Powell Lacrosse, Stray Cat Sundays is a laid-back fall gathering where lacrosse is the excuse, not the reason. Grab a lawn chair or picnic blanket, bring the crew, and settle in for some veteran athleticism, neighborhood hangs, and plenty of Sunday sunshine.
Part adult league. Part neighborhood sandlot. All Sunday hang.

Little Catz Soccer
Dates: Mondays, Sep 21, 2026 – Oct 19, 2026
Time: 6:00 - 7:00 pm
Registration fee: $50
Deadline: Sep 20, 2026
Get ready for Little Catz Soccer, a fun and welcoming introduction to soccer for children ages 3–5! Designed for young players of all experience levels, each session helps kids build basic soccer skills, coordination, confidence, and a love for the game.
Players will practice dribbling, passing, and shooting through age-appropriate activities, movement, games, and small-sided play. Coaches will also introduce teamwork and playing with others in a positive, encouraging environment where the focus is on learning and having fun.
Whether they’re brand new to soccer or already love kicking the ball around, Little Catz is a great place to learn, play, and grow.
5-Week Pilot Program
This first Little Catz Soccer season is a 5-week pilot with limited spots. We’ll use the session to learn what works best for our players and families as we build the program, with plans to potentially add future seasons, additional time slots, and more opportunities to play. -
Wildcat Skills & Drills With Coach Lamas -Grades 6th, 7th and 8th
Dates: Wednesdays starting Sept. 23 through Nov. 11th (8 weeks)
Time: 6:30–7:30 PM
Registration fee: $120
Deadline: Sept. 22nd
Get ready for an 8-week season of Wildcat Skills & Drills with Coach Manny Lamas! Designed for 6th–8th graders, this program helps players strengthen their basketball fundamentals, improve their understanding of the game, and build confidence on the court.
Each week combines focused skills and drills with game-like situations and live play. Players will develop fundamentals, basketball IQ, teamwork, and an understanding of key rules, concepts, and strategies—all while competing and having fun with their peers.
It’s a great fit for athletes preparing for modified basketball or anyone ready to take the next step in their development.
Meet Coach Manny Lamas
Coach Manny Lamas brings experience coaching players across a wide range of ages and skill levels, including AAU teams and the Syracuse Stars. His focus is helping young athletes build strong fundamentals, understand the game, gain confidence, and enjoy playing basketball. -
Wildcat Skills & Drills With Coach Lamas- Grades 3rd,4th, and 5th

Get ready for 8 weeks of basketball development, competition, and fun! Wildcat Skills & Drills is designed for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders looking to build their fundamentals, improve their basketball IQ, and gain confidence on the court.
Each week, players will work on essential skills, game rules, techniques, teamwork, and strategies through engaging drills, live play, and friendly competition. Whether your athlete is new to basketball or looking to sharpen their skills, this program provides a positive environment to learn, compete, and grow.
Meet Coach Manny Lamas
Coach Manny brings experience coaching athletes across a variety of ages and levels, including AAU teams and the Syracuse Stars. His goal is to help young athletes build strong fundamentals, understand the game, gain confidence, and most importantly, enjoy playing basketball.
Wildcat Swim Lessons help kids become safe, confident, and capable swimmers in a positive, encouraging environment. Our progressive program meets swimmers where they are, with four levels that build water comfort, safety, independence, stroke development, and endurance. Small-group instruction gives every swimmer plenty of time in the water and the individual attention they need to learn, grow, and have fun.
Swim Lesson Registration Fee:

Parent and Child Swim Lessons
A fun, comfortable introduction to the water, parents join their child in the pool for instructor-led activities that build water comfort, confidence, and basic safety skills through songs, games, floating, kicking, and play.

Beginner 1 Swim Lessons:
Designed for new swimmers who are ready to learn independently with an instructor. Swimmers practice safe pool entry and exit, putting their face in the water, floating, kicking, and beginning to move through the water on their own.

Tuesdays at 9am, Sept. 15-Nov.3
Tuesdays at 5pm, Sept. 15-Nov.3
Beginner 2 Swim Lessons:
For swimmers who are comfortable in the water and ready to build on the basics. Lessons focus on independent swimming, body position, kicking, breathing, and introductory freestyle and backstroke skills.

Tuesdays at 9:30am, Sept. 15-Nov.3
Intermediate Swim Lessons
For swimmers who can already swim independently. Swimmers work on improving freestyle and backstroke technique, developing additional strokes and water-safety skills, and building the endurance and confidence to swim longer distances.

Ready for the Next Level?
For swimmers who are ready to take their skills further, Wildcat is proud to be a home of the Syracuse Chargers Swim Team. Young swimmers can progress from lessons into competitive swimming with one of Central New York’s established swim programs—all in the same pool where they learned to swim.
The Chargers offer opportunities for developing and experienced swimmers to build stronger strokes, endurance, confidence, and racing skills while becoming part of a supportive team environment.
